Forever in my heart. Forever missed.

This is still hard for me to even write, let alone believe but, our family dog, our sweet girl, Reba passed away Sunday morning. She had a tumor spreading so we knew this would be something that was going to happen. Only, we were planning on getting a second opinion that we could save her from the former one stating that she was too old to help.

We couldn't give up on her in such a way, especially if there was a chance to give her a bit longer. However, I learned that life often has other plans for you and Reba knew what she wanted for hers.

On Saturday night, we noticed that Reba seemed hesitant to sleep. She wouldn't leave my side (which was normal for her) but something was off. Right before bed, I stroked her head and smiled at her. I told her we'd see her in the morning and went to bed myself.

Sunday mornings are busy. We are usually in a rush and have to leave before 10. The kids woke up first and came to us to tell us that Reba had had an accident in the living room. We cleaned it up while she just laid on the floor watching us. I went back to finish getting dressed, while my husband took Reba for her morning walk.

We live on the third floor so it's hard on anyone, let alone an old girl like her. A few minutes later, I hear my husband screaming for me and as I walked from the room, I saw him laying her on the floor. She was limp and breathing with shallow breaths. She looked at me and I just knew what she wanted.

Her family there with her as she had been for us.

I called the kids and we all sat around her, petting her. With a little smile, she took her final breath and she was gone.

She was our rescue. We got her when my second born was just over 1 years old.  Reba changed our world and she will be forever in our hearts.

We love you Reba. We'll miss you always.

Six Sentence Sunday: WIP The Huntsman's Daughter XXX picture included

 WARNING: Sexy bondage picture below!

This is a WIP I've worked on and off with. It's going to be BDSM meets Red Riding Hood meets the daughter of Red Riding Hood. Enjoy!

She knew her predicament was her fault, she didn't listen and because of her own strong will, she was now bent over and vulnerable to the man before her.
“Mmm, little red, I have plans for you. And please keep squirming, it makes me hard.” He spoke in a soft but commanding tone.
Charlie fought to protest, her voice caught on the tip of her tongue but the man had placed a ring gag into her mouth, keeping it in the perfect 'O' for whatever he planned to do. The leather padded room would have been pitched in darkness if not for the red light, which cast it in a sexy as well as demonic glow. Her senses were in a state of heightened awareness, her ears on alert to the sound of humming behind her.
She knew the buzzing came from a generator, the power it exerted sending tremors through the floorboards and up to her pussy which too was spread with a circular device held open with strings.

Six Sentence Sunday: A Zombie Hunter's Holiday by D. X. Luc

Sheesh, it feels like this week went by really fast. Stay tuned because on the 13th I have a blog hop I'm part of. It'll be tons of fun!

Now onto my six for a book I haven't talked about in awhile. In fact it's my second book I wrote.

A Zombie Hunter's Holiday

“Hold on. I'm coming.”

When Raina opened the door, she figured she'd see either another girl from
work, dropping off more gifts, or her grandmother. She even had her fake
grin in place, but it faltered when she came face to chest with her tall,
glasses-wearing friend and it shocked her to her core. His arms were braced
on the door frame and he practically bore through her with his stare. His
white-blond curls brushed along his forehead and slightly concealed his eyes,
but she still felt their heat. In fact, his whole demeanor warmed her up and
the fire he stirred pooled low in her pussy.

Getting Freaky Friday: Sunburn by Rosanna Leo

I LOVED this book by the way. Seriously, if you haven't read it yet, you must. It's awesome.  Don't believe me? Check out below.

Patience O’Conner is a travel blogger who lives for her work. Her dedication to her readers brings her to the famed Helios Resort in Mexico, a locale that stuns her with its beauty but at which she suffers from some very strange accidents.

Luckily, hunky resort bartender Apollo Delos is always there in the nick of time, a malcontent guardian angel. Apollo stuns Patience again and again with his life-saving abilities, to say nothing of his smoldering looks and apparent desire to keep her alive.

Before long, Patience wonders if there is more to the sexy bartender than mixed cocktails and insane first-aid skills. Something strange is happening at Helios and Apollo doesn’t want to talk about it.

Can Patience open herself up to this enigmatic man, even though she is terrified to be vulnerable again? And can Apollo recover from an eternity of hurt and learn to trust once more? They must both decide before Death comes calling.

The god lifted her from the massage table and carried her to a hot tub that was gurgling in the corner of the room. Still holding her, Apollo climbed the two steps and descended into the steamy bath. Patience sucked in a breath as the hot water tickled her toes. Rather than set her down in the Jacuzzi, he gathered a soft towel with one hand and laid it on the tiles. And then he set Patience on the towel so she was sitting outside the tub facing him.

“Don’t you want me in the hot tub with you?” she asked.

He shook his head as he ran his hands up her calves, desire burning in his eyes. “Not yet.”

Apollo put his wet hands on her knees and moved her legs apart, exposing her pussy. He placed his hands on her ass, drew her to him, and licked her center. Patience buried her fingers in his blond waves, helpless as he nibbled at her lips and drove his tongue into her seam. Every so often, he’d look at her, catch her eye, and let his tongue dart between her folds so she could see. It was the sexiest thing she’d ever seen. To see her need echoed in his eyes was enough to drive her around the bend. And he felt so good, she wanted to clasp her legs around his head and keep him there forever.

Apollo pushed her legs together and moved her knees up higher so he had greater access to her pussy. He buried his face in her core, clamped onto her clit, and sucked hard. Patience writhed under her blond god, legless, completely numb as the first spasms of her orgasm rocked her body. She released his curls and her arms flailed by her sides.

And as the monumental wave threw her body, she wanted to shout in adoration. Apollo is my god!

It was many minutes before she calmed. Apollo held her there, which was good because she no longer had control over her own movements. As the final, soft convulsion eased through her, he moved his face from her sex and kissed the backs of her thighs. He then moved up her leg and kissed the back of her knees. Only then did he release his grip on her legs and allow them to gently fall back to the towel. He pulled her into a sitting position and gathered her in his arms.

It only took a second for their lips to find each other. His tongue dove into her mouth, branding her, claiming her, tasting of her essence. Making her head turn with emotion she’d stifled for so long. At the same time, this feeling was different. Apollo was her new addiction. Sweeter than chocolate and more warming than a roaring fire.

As his lips traveled down her neck, Patience remembered what the Muses had said. “Apollo?”

“Hmm,” he murmured against her skin.

“I want to see you, in your full glory.”

His kisses stopped. He paused, and then he looked at her. An angry flame of gold danced in his eyes for a moment, but he blinked and extinguished it. He removed his hands from her body, making her want to cry. His response, a resounding, “No.”

Six Sentence Sunday: The Replacement by Justyce Rayne

Okay, I'm doing something a little different for today's SSS.

You see, I'm editing another book. A different genre from what many are used to seeing from me. I wrote a book many, many years ago. One that took of a very dark and paranormal idea of soul replacement.

I held onto this, even getting it copyrighted through the Library of Congress because while many said it was intelligent, fantastic, and something entirely different...I didn't think any publisher would want it.

Well, last year, there was an open call with a publisher and I sent them my story. I wasn't too optimistic so when they wrote back that they were interested and just wanted me to fix it (as this was my first work and so my writing was pretty novice to say the least), they'd leave me an open invitation to return the edited, fleshed out story.

So that's what I've been working on since that amazing email. I wanted to share six sentences from this story, The Replacement under my non-erotic alter ego Justyce Rayne.

Enjoy this snippet.

"To explain how it felt to meld with a host would mean I'd spend days discussing the laws of physics, so I'll just use Layman's terminology. It burns! I'm not exaggerating about this. Seriously, imagine taking a hot poker after it has sat in a flame for hours, then ramming it down your throat for shits and giggles. This burn was a thousand times worse.
As the transference began, the first sizzle that shot down my spine was shocking enough that I fought to pull away. It was far too late for me to reconsider as our link was solid. I tried for controlled breathing but the excruciating pain worked against me and I nearly broke down."
